Carolina Panthers Things don’t get better

This has to be an embarrassing start for the Carolina Panthers. Last season a contender for the playoffs, this year 0-2 so far. This cannot be a good sign. If there are any players out there watching the team play, let me say that this is not the way to win football games and that the team needs to regroup and figure out what the issue is.

Deangelo Williams was supposed to be one of the breakout stars of the team. Williams who came from the University of Memphis had a chance last season to make a name, while he did that seemed to be all he had in his tank. The failures of the Panthers do not need to be placed in his lap alone, there are several players that are all as a whole responsible for the failure that the team is experiencing at the current moment.

The quarterback is one of these players that need to step up and take on his responsibility in the fact that they are not able to get the offense or the defense up and going. There are several players that are all as a unit responsible for the complete and total failure of the teams overall performance. These Players need to make sure that they step up and take control of the situation, this may even mean that the team will need to make it a point that they restructure the overall team and realign themselves in a way that the team can repeat the success that they had last season.

The question that will be asked a lot this season is will the team be able to recover from this disaster and get back on track? Unless something changes quickly, the answer to this question will be a resounding no. The team will suffer even more losses and will see their dreams crushed.

On the other side of things, the Panthers could turn the ship around and get back on track, after all a record of 14-2 is still a very impressive one to brag about. The fate of the team will be in their hands and they will have complete control over it.

While watching the team looks a lot like a train wreck, there are some things that can be done in an effort to get the team back on track and prevent them from slipping into the record of the Detroit Lions a couple of seasons ago. This season will simply be a matter of perception and as a result will lead them to seeing either the best season that they have had, or the worst season that they have had, only time will tell the exact nature of how things will go.
