Clemson Tigers in 2010
23 that is the number of players that signed to play for the Clemson Tigers in 2010. When the day was over the signing class that Clemson had was ranked 17th in the nation. This is an impressive number considering the fact that the Clemson Tigers are not really a contender for any major bowl games this season as there are many other teams that will dominate the Clemson Tigers this season when they take the field.
There are so many places that the Clemson Tigers need improvement on that it is hard to find a place to start when talking about the Clemson Tigers. The first and easiest place to start is with the running game.
When you are talking about the running game of Clemson you need remember that in their conference last season they scored very low on the rankings for most yards ran in a season.
The reason for this is because they need to make serious adjustments to the running back position and find a way to advance the ball more that one or two yards at a time. The Clemson Tigers are going to need a running back that will be able to take the ball and run with it to the end zone. One this problem has been fixed they will be able to make the needed adjustments and will have a solid running game.
Lets talk passing. The Clemson Tigers are very weak when it comes to airing the ball out and getting it to receivers that can make the big plays. When I watch the Clemson Tigers pass I am able to predict the outcome simply because the pass will fall incomplete. This is a sad fact but unfortunately one that has become attached to the Clemson Tigers. So now they are in need of a running back and a quarterback, heck lets just add a wide receiver to the list of 0players that are needed to be added to the Clemson Tigers.
I am at a loss of words to say something that is positive about the Clemson Tigers. It is not that I don’t want to it is a matter of I cannot think of anything that is positive when talking about the team. There is plenty of room for improvement, as a result there will be plenty of yelling at spring practices as the head coach will be beating his head trying to figure out how a team of players can look so bad at playing the game of football.
